Clear as crystal [25 Dec 2009|12:36am] anim3_anjo0l [ mood | happy ] If you've read my previous entries, you might remember me saying that I'm not really one for Christmas. I think it's too much trouble and really, I still believe that worshipping a holiday which doesn't even have roots in Christianity but saying it does is wrong. Nonetheless, I'm not going to force my views on everyone because at the end of the day, we all see the world in a different light, right? Anyway, last week my mum gave me a small wrapped present that she told me not to open until the 25th. She said it might be good for my 21st birthday and judging from the size of the package, I thought it would be a necklace. I was right, but it's a set - it came with a bracelet. Also, it wasn't any bracelet and necklace set - she actually went out and bought me a Swarovski crystal bracelet and necklace set. For those who don't know, I seriously absolutely adore Swarovski. I never actually mentioned it to my family though - I guess it's true when they say mothers notice everything. It's really simple and elegant - the clear Swarovski crystals are encased in gold rings and linked together. I'll try and take a decent photo of it tomorrow. I'm really happy - not because of what I got, but this helped me realize that my family does pay attention to me and what I like, despite how they act. I'm pretty lucky that they put up with a brat like me, lol. ♥ 1 comment|post comment

I can do this! [23 Dec 2009|10:46pm] anim3_anjo0l [ mood | bouncy ] [ music | BANDAGE - LANDS ] I don't remember if I mentioned this, but I joined a weight loss program at my gym recently. Basically, it's mainly watching and helping with my eating habits. I just had my first weigh in today (started last week) and guess what?! I lost 1.4kgs! (That's just a little over 3 pounds ^^v) :D I'm so happy! It just motivates me further and hopefully by mid 2010, I'll be back to my size 8-10 self that I've been yearning for years! ( Yesterday~ ) Also, Alice9 Channel last night killed me. Tora. That one line... "For Christmas, I want you as a present." *dies* Seriously, I don't usually fall for that stuff but like Foo-san and everyone else, I went "KYAA!" except I said it out loud >_>;; Nao's singing is the best. XDDD I'm so glad someone requested that LOL! Ponnie looked adorable as usual ♥ Still laughing at how Nao said this year he thought it was Hiroto's shichigosan XDD Well, Pon has grown a lot over the past year! hahaha ♥ Oh, random but, according to a guy (who doesn't seem to know me that well after all) said I'm too concerned with the coming and goings of bands like it's a bad thing. Honestly, I don't follow a ton of bands these days, but the ones I do mean a lot to me. Maybe he doesn't understand because he doesn't have a passion for music. He said that to me just because I mentioned I was thinking about joining the FC of a band (Alice Nine) and nothing more than that. He really annoyed me when he started telling me that being so absorbed in music is 'unhealthy'. I don't think I'll be talking to him for a while. Tomorrow all my family is coming over - including a few who rarely ever show their face. Should be interesting. 4 comments|post comment

I typed in Karasu (I was originally searching for the live version of LASTICA) but a recording of them performing their song Karasu came up first on the list. I decided to take a look at it and then I got hooked. I looked around for their discography on jpop_uploads and am having a listen through all of it now. They remind me of ELLEGARDEN in the sense they sound Americanized, and I like it. Too bad that Alex guy left - I reckon he's hot! Ah well.   Now I'll be adding these guys on my long list of "discographies to collect". I'll get around to it eventually one day. One of my dreams is to own a huge music and book library. post comment
